Minx Consulting is backing Road Safety Week 2019, which runs 18th – 24th November.
This year’s theme is calling on road users to ‘step up’ and play a part in the creation of a safe and healthy future.
Including Fleet managers who are being asked to ‘step up’ their road safety and to remind employees about the importance of everyone’s contribution to road.
Established by Brake more than 20 years ago, Road Safety Week seeks to raise public awareness of road safety issues, and is intended to act as ‘the driver for positive change on UK roads’.
Joshua Harris, director of campaigns for Brake, said: “Road Safety Week provides a unique opportunity, every year, to focus the public, organisations and policy-makers’ attention on the importance of road safety.
“With someone being killed or seriously injury on a British road every 20 minutes, each one a preventable tragedy, there is still huge progress to be made.
Sophia Ali, Managing Consultant, Minx Consulting says
“Road Safety Week provides all road users, especially businesses and business drivers, the opportunity to analyse and review their own current policies and behaviour to ensure they are on the right path to contributing towards safer roads for everyone.”
Minx Consulting offers Driver CPC Training including Vehicle Performance, Driving Techniques and Safety.
